When the weekend approaches here in the city of bright lights, streets become a little less crowded, cafes are filled with regular patrons (as opposed to the weekly unemployed actors), and reservations at Picca Peru are nearly impossible to obtain before 9:30pm on Friday and Saturday nights. All in all, the city unfurls itself and becomes a crystal ball filled with magic and wonder and leaves me to answering the age old question, What sort of mischief can one get into?
Being that I am an artist and a restaurateur, I usually turn to the hot new restaurants and theater scene first before weeding out other options. I tend to jump out of the box and try something new, fresh, and fabulous in different areas of the city. With my sister in town, I am going to play hostess and show her the time of her life. With a quick jaunt to Melrose this afternoon, we are gonna head to one of my favorite stores on the planet, JoyRich, and show her the latest and greatest in avant-garde fashion design. To take a look at their extreme outfit designs, visit http://joyrich.com/usa/. It is by far my favorite store in the city, catering to my crazy outlandish lifestyle. I always sport my favorite shirts from there.
To top the evening off, we are going to one of the best restaurants in the city known as Sotto. Located on Pico Blvd in Beverly Hills, Sotto offers an array of Southern Italian dishes including brick oven pizza and interesting pasta dishes. One of the hardest restaurants in the city to get a reservation, having to book almost 2 weeks in advance, you can wine and dine without having to spend a fortune. You can visit their website at http://www.sottorestaurant.com/
